The City of Washington will shut the water main on Jefferson Street Monday, July 9th at 8 a.m.

This will allow the main to be looped with a new main installed running north from Madison Street to Jefferson Street. Residents on Jefferson Street from Second Avenue to the cul-du-sac east of Ninth Avenue will be affected by the shut down. Service is scheduled to be restored around 3 p.m. Questions can be directed to Washington City Hall.
