A citation has been issued to a Washington man after a boy was hit by a car on the Washington square earlier this month.
According to the Washington Police Department, at 6:13 p.m. on June 7th dispatch was notified that a boy was hit by a car on the square and the car kept going. The boy possibly had an injury to his hand. Washington County Ambulance responded but no transport was given. Police attempted to locate the suspect vehicle. There were conflicting stories. Tuesday KCII was notified that a citation was issued to the driver on June 22nd. The driver was Robert Triska of Washington and he was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to provide aid or information.
