An update on the investigation into a March 28th shooting in Washington has been released by the Washington County Attorney’s Office.
On March 28th at approximately 6:48 p.m. law enforcement responded to a shooting at 106 B Avenue South. Officers found a white male in a bedroom of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was conscious and was taken to the hospital by Washington County Ambulance. The name and age of the man has not been released. He has since recovered from his wound.
Officials state a firearm was not recovered during a search, and law enforcement believes it was an isolated incident. The shooting is still under investigation.
