Those planning on attending Shiloh’s fireworks display this Fourth of July will have to look elsewhere.

Shiloh Media Pastor Jeremy Richardson says there will not be a public fireworks show on July 3rd at Shiloh this year. There will be a small private celebration with fireworks and music on July 4th for attendees of their annual summer conference. Shiloh church has hosted an annual Independence Day celebration for 30 years and its success has led to a growth in attendance exceeding the capacity of Shiloh’s facilities, according to Richardson. Shiloh pastor and member of the Richmond Shooters fireworks team Chuck Rogness sees this as the end to a chapter, and says it’s been an honor to host an impactful event and they will look for new ways to participate in future events for the community.
