The four-day Washington Summer Classic concludes Sunday afternoon with the Latino Festival.
Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says the festival has a full schedule and attractions for all ages, “They have the best food, you don’t want to miss out on that food. They also have a lot of news bands and activities for kids, and they just keep continuing to grow in their schedule for the year.” A bilingual English and Spanish mass will be held by St. James from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be food vendors, kids activities, face painting and a bounce house in Central Park until 6 p.m. A corn eating contest will be at 1:45 p.m. and there will be pinatas for kids from 2-3 p.m. Live music and dancing will be on the bandstand throughout the day.
