Local authorities responded to the scene of a single vehicle wreck south of Washington.

As heard live from the scene on KCII, an SUV struck a utility pole on the east side of 2561 Highway 1 just before 1 p.m. Wednesday. One person was transported from the scene by Washington County Ambulance. Agencies that responded to the scene included Washington Fire Department, Washington Ambulance, Washington Police Department, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities directed traffic as they assisted at the scene. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
