The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team will host a River Valley Conference quadrangular meet Wednesday at their home away from home, Blue Top Ridge at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.
The Golden Hawks will be joined at the meet by West Branch, West Liberty and Wilton. Mid-Prairie enters play off of a second place finish in an RVC triangular Monday against West Liberty and West Branch where the Hawks shot a 206 team score, led by meet medalist Paige Slabaugh at 46. On the season, Slabaugh leads Mid-Prairie with her 46 average per nine holes for the year. She is followed by Abbi Patterson at 53, Kendra Schaefer 54, Emma Mattes at 56 and Abby Statler 57.
West Branch enters action with a 205 average per nine holes. The Bears are led by Aleah Rocha with a 48 average.
Wilton comes into the meet with a 215 average. The Beavers are led by Eleney Owens with a 51 average.
West Liberty comes into tonight with a 217 average. The Comets are led by Aly Jones and her 49 average.
The meet starts at 2:30 and continues into the evening in Riverside.
