Crews are working on patching Coppock Road this week.

Cedar Falls Construction is doing the work and have flaggers set up for traffic to follow. The work is being done from the city of Coppock north up to the Wayland Road intersection, about seven miles of road. Pilot cars will assist in directing traffic through the work zone. Drivers are urged to slow down, use caution, and follow the road crew’s directions. Be prepared for delays on Coppock Road during this time. Weather permitting the work is expected to continue through today (5/2). The work involves concrete patching and grinding of the road surface to increase longevity of the pavement and improve the ride.
