Mid-Prairie’s black and gold will be seen on the blue oval in Des Moines during Thursday’s session of the Drake Relays.

The Golden Hawk girls have Anna and Marie Hostetler competing in the 3000. The sisters qualified sixth and seventh respectively in the event. The top qualifier is Reagan Gorman of Cedar Rapids Washington.

The Mid-Prairie boys will have Floyd Evans on the track in the 3200. Evans qualified 19th of 22 runners in the two mile. Top qualifier is Konnor Sommer of Pleasant Valley.

Action continues all day and into the weekend at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
