The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys golf team defended their home course Monday, beating the Wilton Beavers in a River Valley Conference dual in Kalona 176-181.

The Hawks were led on the day by meet medalist Noah Schlabaugh and his round of 40.

Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Michael Callahan and Monte Slabaugh with matching 45s, Ryan Smit at 46, Ryan Slaubaugh with a 49 and Collin Gingerich with a 58. Mid-Prairie will next be on the course Tuesday when they travel to West Liberty for the Comet Invitational.
