Mid-Prairie cross country and track and field standout Peyton Miller signed his official letter of intent Wednesday at Mid-Prairie High School to run track at Dordt College in Sioux Center.

Miller, a senior, has been a part of major success for the Golden Hawks in both cross country and track. On the cross country course he was part of three Mid-Prairie teams to qualify for state in Fort Dodge including a fourth place team finish in 2015, state team title in 2016 and state team runner-up finish in 2017. Individually, he placed 15th in 2015, 11th in 2016 and ninth in 2017 at state.

On the oval, Miller is a multi-time Iowa State track meet and Drake Relays qualifier. Miller is also a multi-time Junior Olympic qualifier. The Mid-Prairie track team will next run Thursday at Mount Pleasant.
