The Iowa High School Football Coaches Association recently released the rosters for the 2018 Iowa Shrine All-Star Football Classic in the summer and Washington’s Ryan Reighard and Jaivonn Willis will be participating.
The seniors are two of 46 players that were selected to represent the South team. The annual all-star game has raised over $2,600,000 for the Shriners Hospital for Children in the 46-year existence. The duo stuffed the stat sheets throughout their Demon career and recently signed to play at the next level. Reighard will be a Cyclone next year at Iowa State University. Throughout his three-year career at quarterback, the senior has compiled over 5,000 yards of total offense. After an injury early in his senior season, Reighard moved to linebacker and managed all-district honors while compiling 39 tackles. Willis was named to all state teams in each of the last three seasons and developed into one of the most dynamic receivers in the state. He racked up over 2,000 receiving yards and 35 receiving touchdowns in his four-year career. Willis will join Iowa Central Community College this fall.
Reighard and Willis will represent the Demons one last time on July 21st at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls.
