Internet memes will come to life at Keota Schools this week as they celebrate their homecoming.

Meme is one of the dress up day themes this year, as well as career/occupation, look alike, senior citizen, and spirit. Grades seven-12 will participate in the annual “Anything Goes” games competition Thursday afternoon, and the pep rally will be at 1:55 p.m. Friday. The 2018 homecoming court is Cole Brenneman, Luke Greiner, Riley Conrad, Hunter Wilson, Gracie Mchugh, Olivia Sieren, Anna Ackerman-Axume, and Kylie Beinhart. King and Queen will be crowned at the boys basketball game as the Eagles tame the Iowa Valley Tigers at 6 p.m. Friday. The homecoming dance will follow the game for high school students and will conclude at midnight.
