Multiple fire departments were paged out to a fire in Kalona Monday night.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9:05 p.m. a garage was on fire in the 400 block of 7th Street. The garage is attached to the house. Kalona, Wellman, and Riverside Fire Departments were called to the scene. Kalona Fire Department extinguished the fire and the other departments were disregarded. Kalona QRS also responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
