A car went into the ditch and into some trees along Wayland Road Thursday afternoon.

According to Washington County Communications, at 2:46 p.m. the wreck happened and a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy arrived on scene and requested an ambulance for a person with a laceration to their arm. The person refused transport by Washington County Ambulance. The driver was John Larsen of Mt. Pleasant. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The county roads department was notified of damage to curve signs at the site.
