Now that Christmas is over, many live Christmas trees are growing dry with needles falling.

Those who have live trees in the City of Washington may dispose of them in Central Park beginning January 2nd. The drop off area will be in the southeast corner of Central Park. Residents can also place trees on street corners, opposite of fire hydrants. Another option is for the trees to be taken to the Waste Water Treatment Plant’s brush pile site. Tree pick up in the City of Washington will conclude January 10th.
