The Washington archery team was back in action on Saturday traveling to Albia for a tournament.
It was another successful weekend for the Demons placing second out of six teams with a total score of 3321. Eddyville-Blakesburg took home the title with 3350. Samantha Mellinger led the way once again for Washington placing second out of 83 high school girls with a score of 290 and 22 bullseyes. Braeden Duwa placed fourth out of 87 high school boys with a score of 281 and 18 bullseyes. Other top scorers for the Demons include Alexis Ide with 281, Shanea Amland with 280, Kylee Porter with 278, Samantha Frana with 277, Bryan Martin with 276, and Cody Mellinger with 274.
The Demons are off for the holiday break until January 6th when they travel to Solon.
