A tree is up for the holidays at the Washington Public Library, but it isn’t decorated with your typical lights and ornaments.

No, it’s covered with mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, and socks. The annual mitten tree is now accepting donations. Items of all sizes are accepted, and simply need to be placed on the tree at the entrance of the library. All of the donations will be given to local children and adults in need this holiday season. The mitten tree will be accepting donations through December 15th.
