The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team saw their season come to an end Thursday night in Victor in the regional semifinal round of the class 1A playoffs.

The Wolves were swept in straight sets by No. 14 HLV 25-17, 25-22 and 25-22. The Warriorettes were led in the match by Macie Boots with 14 kills, Haley Coats and Jolynne Schnebbe with 15 assists and Shary Hinshaw with 21 digs. The Wolves end their season at 14-19. They say goodbye to seven seniors Lilly VanAmerongen, Molly Jennings, Lauren Jamison, Lexee Hartsock, Dakota Haines, Maci Richardson and Pearl Kreiger-Coble.
