Edward Louis Davidson

A preliminary hearing was held Monday for a Kalona man who was arrested after a traffic incident in Riverside.

Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday afternoon to a collision between 49-year-old Edward Louis Davidson of Kalona and Jennifer Grimes of Lone Tree at Kum & Go on Hwy 22 in Riverside. Davidson was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and first offense OWI. At Monday’s preliminary hearing Davidson was charged with failure to maintain control, failure to provide proof of financial ability, and driving with a suspended license. A court date has been set for November 2.
