The Winfield-Mt. Union (12-18) volleyball team welcomes Keota (2-19) to town tonight for the first round of regional play.
The Wolves have utilized a mix of a core senior group and some talented freshmen to finish the season winning five of their last nine contests. Expect the bulk of the offense to be generated by senior Lexee Hartsock and freshman Jenna Buffington as they have 384 kills combined on the year. Lauren Jamison has contributed to 376 assists. Defensively watch out for Kyndal Townsley who has 290 digs and Hartsock is a force at the net with 50 blocks.
Addison Swanson leads Keota with 93 kills on the year and 1.5 kills per set. Jillian Schulte has recorded 220 assists, Jolee Walker has 210 digs, and Grace McHugh has 33 blocks.
The action gets started at 7 p.m. tonight at Winfield-Mt. Union High School.
