Southeast Conference volleyball competition will be taking place at the Washington High School today as the Demons (2-18) host Mount Pleasant (8-15).

The Demons return home for the first time in almost four weeks and look for their second conference victory. When these two teams met up last month the Panthers swept the Demons, but two of the three sets were decided by four points or less. The Demons will need a solid game from Addison Six and Isabel Bailey, who lead the team with 119 kills combined. Megan Mitchell sets up much of the Demon offense with 128 assists on the season. Defensively, senior Morgan Brinning has managed 134 digs and has been successful on 91 of her 98 serve attempts.

The Demons will have to stop senior Kalyn Batey who has 137 kills on the year and had 11 in their last meeting. Ashlee Menke has produced 273 assists on the year, and Dani Broeker has 273 digs.

The conference showdown gets started at 7 p.m. tonight at Washington High School.
