Ballots can be cast now for area school board elections.

Five candidates are on the ballot for three seats on the Washington School Board. Washington School District residents cast votes for every district. In District 2 the candidates are incumbent Dana McDole and Kate Glinsmann, District 3 is incumbent Heidi Vittetoe and Kelly Wieland, and At-Large is Jason Hamilton. The At-Large seat is currently held by Patty Roe who is not seeking re-election.

You can vote early in person or by mail. Elections Administrator Sue Meeks says so far 45 people have voted absentee, mostly in the Washington School District. Election day is September 12th, listen to KCII that evening for live results from the Washington County Courthouse.
