The Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center will soon have a special audience – the Enhance Iowa Board.

The regular meeting of Enhance Iowa is being held at the year-old theater Wednesday morning. Enhance Iowa provides grants to assist Iowa communities with facilities and projects to promote attractions and tourism to the general public. The performing arts center attached to Washington High School received was funding in part by an Enhance Iowa grant.
