No injuries occurred at a house fire northeast of Kalona Wednesday morning.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 6:47 a.m. the fire was reported at 2479 105th Street. Everyone was able to get out of the residence. As heard live from the scene with KCII News, 105th Street was closed between Orange and Palm Avenues while emergency crews worked at the scene. Kalona, Wellman, and Riverside Fire Departments, as well as Kalona QRS, Alliant Energy, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene. The Red Cross was notified to assist the family.
