Due to wells for the city’s water supply having issues the Washington City Council is having a special session meeting today.

The solo item on the agenda is discussion and consideration of a change order for Well #6 improvements at a cost of $43,950. At last week’s council meeting it was explained that the well is being re-cased and it’s capacity has dropped dramatically from 600 gallons per minute to 300 gallons per minute. The meeting is being held at noon in the conference room of Washington City Hall.
