An inmate at the Washington County Jail is facing additional charges after destroying property Saturday.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 5:56 a.m. 28-year-old Brandon Jordan Ball tore up a mattress and broke a breakfast tray. A deputy and two Washington Police officers responded to the scene. Charges were filed for criminal mischief in the fifth degree. Then Saturday evening, at 7:17 p.m. Ball pulled off his sprinkler in his cell. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies and Washington Police officers again responded to the jail. Additional charges are pending once estimates for damage are available. He was initially arrested for disorderly conduct.
