Three Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys track standouts competed over the weekend at the AAU Region 14 Qualifier Meet in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

Peyton Miller participated in the 400m hurdles where he was third with a time of 58.29 seconds. He also ran the 800, taking third in 2:04.44. Quinn Schmidt ran the 100, taking 19th in a time of 12.03 seconds. In the 400, Schmidt was 13th in 53.87 seconds. He also ran the 800, taking eighth in 2:07.53. Marshal Teets was the winner in the 2,000 steeplechase, finishing in 6:46.61.

Miller qualified for the AAU National Meet in the 800 and will compete at the Junior Olympic National Meet in Detroit, Michigan at the end of July.
