Due to increased popularity at last year’s festival, the Crawfordsville Fun Days has changed from a biannual event to a yearly one.
The Crawfordsville Fun Days is hosted by the Crawfordsville Community Club, which was founded in 2013. This year’s schedule has returning events, including the legs and beard contests, and new ones like the family trivia extravaganza happening Saturday night. Community Club President Jamie Ferski looks forward to this weekend, “Seeing everybody enjoying themselves throughout the day, not just Crawfordsville but people from surrounding areas. It’s nice to see folks from different small towns around the area come together and have a good time.”
There are events for all ages at the Crawfordsville Fun Days June 30 – July 1, from the tractor and car show, and euchre tournament, to kiddie games and redneck minigolf. The KCII Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from Crawfordsville Fun Days on Saturday, in the KCII Summer Town Tour.
