Mid-Prairie’s Ryan Harapat and Nick Yutzy of the Iowa Mennonite School will be on the soccer pitch one more time in their high school careers today in the East/West All-Star Cup in Des Moines.

The selection process includes a coaches nomination, followed by final selections from the Iowa Soccer Coaches Association.

As a senior Harapat spent time as a center back and center midfielder for a Golden Hawk squad that finished 7-6. He accumulated five goals, four assists and 14 total points on the year for Mid-Prairie.

Nick Yutzy of Iowa Mennonite spent time in the midfield his senior year. He finished with two goals, eight assists and 12 points, for an IMS team that won the Southeast Iowa Superconference Tournament Championship and ended with a 13-4 overall record.

The East/West All-Star Cup will be played at 5p.m. this evening in Des Moines.
