The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls track teams travel to Bellevue tonight for the River Valley Conference track championships.

On paper the Mid-Prairie boys own the best mark in three different events. Peyton Miller leads the conference in the 400m hurdles with his time of 56.11 seconds. Floyd Evans is best in the 1600m run with a time of 4:34.71. The Golden Hawk 4×800 relay is also best with their time of 8:20.64.

For the Mid-Prairie girls they have the best conference mark in two different events. Anna Hostetler owns the top time in the 1500 and 3000 at 4:34.20 and 9:51.08 respectively. Those are also the top two times in that event in the state regardless of class.

Mid-Prairie will be joined tonight at the meet by Durant, Camanche, Tipton, Northeast Goose Lake, Cascade, Monticello, North Cedar, Iowa City Regina, West Branch, West Liberty, Wilton and the homestanding Bellevue Comets. Action begins tonight at 5 p.m. at Bellevue High School.
