The Southeast Iowa Super Conference boys’ golf meet kicks off today in Fort Madison.

The postseason is upon us as 13-teams duke it out for the conference title including four area schools: Winfield-Mt. Union, Columbus Community, Iowa Mennonite School, and Lone Tree. The Wolves have experienced the most success of the area schools sitting at first in team average for the SEISC-North division with 174.67 strokes per nine holes. A big part of the Wolves’ success stems from the conference leader in average Kaleb Hagge. His near par 36.83 average leads the conference by an impressive four strokes and is good enough for third in class 1A. Teammate Nolan Ross has held his own sitting at third in the conference with a 43-stroke average.

IMS has had their fair share of success in the SEISC posting three conference meet wins on the season. Trevor Leyden medaled in each of those meets and carries a team best 47.2-stroke average, currently fifth in the North division.

Columbus Community has a season average of 215 strokes and is led by Ryan Orr with a 46.5 average.

The Lions hold a 239-stroke average, led by Payton Lorack who has posted a team best score of 49.

Action gets started at 9:30 a.m. this morning at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison.
