Wellman Elementary School is the recipient of an award from the Iowa Department of Education. The school is receiving the banner level of recognition for their remarkable PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) work for the 2015-2016 school year. Wellman Elementary school will be honored for their work at the awards ceremony on May 9th in Des Moines as part of the 2017 Learning Supports Spring Conference. Wellman Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Mid-Prairie School District.
