All students who will be taking concurrent credit courses at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center in the fall are required to attend an orientation session this month. The sessions will cover expectations of high school students taking college level classes, schedules, and attendance policies. Tera Pickens, director of the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center, states there is also program specific information with academy instructors and touring the building. She adds it’s important for parents to attend, as well.
The students signed up will receive an invitation and are asked to confirm when they’ll be attending. The dates are April 19th, 20th and 25th and are grouped by similar programs.
