The Washington County Domestic Violence Coalition is expanding its storage space in order to be better prepared to help the victims of domestic violence in the county. Brad Koenig, President of the coalition, tells KCII radio that they will be moving items into the larger storage unit April 15. He says Washington County has been great at responding to requests for items victims might need in setting up new households, but it would be nice to have furniture, linens, kitchen goods and other items on hand to be used immediately. In the past year, the organization has assisted 28 victims and their families from all over the county.
