“Your protection is our priority,” is the slogan of the 2017 Athletic Training Month observed during March. Athletic trainers locally work with area high schools to assist student athletes recover from injuries and prevent further injury. They also work with children and adults on a daily basis. Kaelene Voorhees an athletic trainer at JET Physical Therapy says there are ways athletes and the general public can prevent getting an injury.
