The only boys basketball player to average a double-double in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North this season received high praise from the coaches of the league. The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves (9-12) have four players on this year’s all-conference squad including senior Bryce Robison as a first-team selection. Robison was the conference’s fifth highest scorer with 368 points in 21 games, an average of 17.5 points per game. His 258 rebounds topped the conference, averaging 12 per contest. He led the Wolves with 73 assists and 20 blocks.
Jordan Hudson closed his high school career as a member of the second-team all-conference squad. Hudson made a team-best 44 three-point baskets this season, the third-most in the conference. His 180 points scored and 82 rebounds ranked third on the Wolves’ squad.
Brock Fricke and BJ Rodgers are the Wolves’ honorable mention selections.
Winfield-Mount Union concluded the season with a record of 9-12 overall. The Wolves lose Kleyton Benedict, Fricke, Hudson, Broc Mullin, and Robison to graduation.
