One team now stands in the way of the No. 5 Washington Demon wrestling team and their fourth straight Southeast Conference crown. As heard live on KCII FM 106.1 and KCIIRadio.com, Washington visited Fort Madison High School for their annual league grapple versus the Bloodhounds. The Demons ran their conference winning streak to 16 duals with a 54-18 triumph.

Twelve of the 14 matches were contested. Washington tallied five wins by fall, a technical fall, a major decision, a decision, and two forfeits. Fort Madison recorded two wins by decision, a medical forfeit, and one pin. Kyle Anderson (126), Tristin Westphal-Edwards (160), Karlton Skubal (195), Tanner Murphy (220), and Tristan Allender (285) posted pinfall victories for Washington.

Washington improves their overall dual record to 17-0, and are 3-0 in the Southeast Conference action. The Demons will conclude their league dual season next Thursday, hosting the Mount Pleasant Panthers. Mount Pleasant bested Mediapolis, 42-33, last night.
