The Columbus Wildcat girls basketball team dropped a Superconference contest Tuesday to the Mediapolis Bullettes at home 69-55.
The game was tight through the first eight minutes with the score tied at 13 after one quarter. MEPO took a lead into the break at 33-25 and extended that advantage with a 16-7 run that lasted the entire third quarter. The Wildcats were unable to make a push late as MEPO finished out the win. The Wildcats were led by 17 points from Shania Boyd. Bailey Stroud had 14 and Maki Mendenhall added 11. With the loss, Columbus is now 5-3 on the season.
