A traffic stop north of West Chester Wednesday night led to the arrest of a Wellman woman. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Haleigh D. Oxley was arrested following a vehicle stop on Ginkgo Avenue just before 7 p.m. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine first offense and marijuana first offense, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,300 cash or surety. While an interview with Oxley was being conducted at the jail at 8:32 p.m. it was advised that charges are pending for operating while intoxicated.
