One person was taken to the University of Iowa hospital by Washington County Ambulance following a car versus deer wreck on Highway 218 Wednesday. According to the Washington County Communications office, at 8:10 a.m. the collision was reported in the northbound lanes of Highway 218, north of Riverside. The driver was Linda Murphy of Eldon. There was broken glass on the driver. Riverside QRS, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel assisted. The car was towed from the scene.
