The top offensive player for the Washington Demon volleyball team (3-24) caught the attention of the Southeast Conference volleyball coaches this fall. The league’s all-conference teams were released this week, and Demon senior Liv Postl was named a second-team All-Southeast Conference performer.

Postl ended her high school volleyball career as Washington’s leader in kills with 97, 19 more than the rest of the squad. Her 15 aces are tied with Jessie Buchholz for the most on the team. Postl’s 19 blocks ranked second, four fewer than Isabel Bailey.

Four Demon players were named honorable mention all-conference performers including Buchholz, Alexis Turner, Megan Mitchell, and Morgan Brinning.

Washington’s volleyball season closed with an overall record of 3-24. The Demons will lose Postl, Buchholz, and Turner to graduation.
