Nineteen-year-old Christian Ennis of Mt. Pleasant was recently arrested for burglary after stealing video game equipment from a Mt. Union home. Just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a residential burglary. The incident happened at a home in the 100 block of West Railroad Street in Mt. Union. A resident was in the home at the time. After further investigation, Ennis was arrested, and charged with burglary, a Class C felony, and third degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor. The stolen items included an XBOX One, games, and other video game accessories, which were later recovered in a ditch near Oakland Mills. Ennis is being held at the Henry County Jail on a $10,000 cash only bond. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.
