The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team returns home for the final time in 2016 when they welcome the Anamosa Blue Raiders to Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman for Senior Night.

Mid-Prairie is 3-4 coming off of a 62-22 win last week at Goose Lake over the Northeast Rebels. Karson Gingerich was five of seven through the air for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Terrhyn Jacoby led the receiving corps with three catches for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Ricky Vargas rolled up 268 yards and five touchdowns on 22 carries. Mid-Prairie is led by Gingerich on the year who is 44 of 90 for 594 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions. Jacoby has seven catches for 155 yards and two scores. On the ground Vargas has 898 yards on 116 carries with 13 touchdowns.

Anamosa is also 3-4 coming into tonight’s game, the Blue Raiders handled Camanche last week 52-17. Michael Martensen led Anamosa with 175 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. On the year the Raiders are led by Cole Sander through the air, he is 16 of 35 for 302 yards three touchdowns and six interceptions. His favorite target is Jay McLean with six catches for 203 yards  and one a touchdown. Martensen leads the Raiders on the ground with 872 yards on 102 carries and 10 touchdowns.
