Wednesday’s high temperature was 64 degrees and the low was 41 degrees, however in the early morning hours Thursday the mercury dropped close to freezing. According to AccuWeather, at 6 a.m. the thermometer read 33 degrees Fahrenheit, causing a frost advisory to be put into effect until 9 a.m. this morning. With the cool temperatures it was advised that sensitive outdoor plants be covered or moved indoors. Temperatures are expected to rise over the weekend with periods of rain.
