Voting is underway and many people in Washington County are choosing to cast their votes early. Sue Meeks, elections administrator for Washington County, tells KCII News that 119 people have voted early at the auditor’s office. Also, 740 people have requested ballots be mailed to them, so they can vote absentee. The general election is November 8th and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can listen to KCII that night for live results from the Washington County Courthouse.
