Bed bugs continue to be a nuisance in Washington County. Jennine Wolf, director of Washington County Environmental Health, provided an annual report to the supervisors recently and said she still gets reports regularly of the pests, about twice each week and they’re multiplying. She added schools have seen the bugs as well. The bugs live in mattresses and furniture and often come out at night to feed on humans. They are expensive to exterminate. Wolf has held bed bug informational meetings in the county. To hear full interviews with her click here for part one and part two.
