In a matchup of area teams, Iowa Mennonite School advances in the class 1A boys soccer playoffs Monday, bouncing Mid-Prairie 2-0.

The first half was a defensive stalemate until the final moments, when IMS broke through on a Cole Ours volley goal on the assist from Jacob Schmeider to make the score 1-0. After the halftime break IMS added an insurance goal in the 56th minute as Ours was taken down in the box. Anthony Villatoro stepped up and knocked in the PK giving IMS the 2-0 advantage.
