An undermanned Mid-Prairie boys soccer team hosted No. 2 in class 1A Iowa City Regina Thursday at the Wellman Soccer Complex.

The Regals came away with a 7-0 win. Regina struck twice in the first 20 minutes, taking a 2-0 lead into the halftime break. Regina stretched their lead to 3-0 in the early portion of the second half before racking up four goals in the final five minutes of the contest against Mid-Prairie reserves. The Golden Hawks finished with two shots on goal. Nathan Reed made eight saves in goal for Mid-Prairie. With the loss the Golden Hawks fall to 1-3, they host Williamsburg on Monday.
