The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls golf teams were on the links for the first time this year hosting the Wapello Indians at the Kalona Golf Course.

On the girls side of the event IMS had just three participants on the day, giving the Arrows the team win. Wapello shot 200 in total. Meet medalist was Abby Kerr of Wapello with her 44, medalist runner-up was Abby Walgren of Wapello with a 51. IMS was led on the night by Payton Hart with a 72, Lara Kliewer had an 82 and Lidiya Kravchuck shot 94.

On the boys side Wapello won the dual 192-219. Ruger McNeil was meet medalist with his 45 for the Indians. Trace Howard was medalist runner up for Wapello with a 46. IMS was led by Roman Slabach with a 49. Drake Brezina fired a 60, Trevor Leyden ended with a 54, Caleb Yoder shot 56, Adrian Gonzales shot a 62 and Palmer Thomas ended with a 64. IMS will next be on the course Monday when they travel to Mediapolis.
